Associates get exposure to a wide variety of transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, public and private offerings, and corporate financial advisory services.
Associates work on multiple projects simultaneously, with primary responsibilities for the research and analysis related to transaction generation and execution. Specific responsibilities may include conducting industry research, building financial models to analyze company projections or potential transactions, drafting offering memorandums for public or private financings, drafting client presentation materials and working with clients to execute financing or merger transactions. Associates typically work on deal teams of three to four professionals and play a key role in transaction execution.
QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS
- An undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or a field that demonstrates quantitative abilities
- MBA or a graduate degree not required, but could be a positive depending on prior work experience
- Minimum of two to three years of depository investment banking experience
- Knowledge of bank financial statements
- Work on multiple projects and transactions at any given time
- Play a critical role as the project manager on teams to manage the deal process from origination to close
- Participate in M&A, corporate finance (debt, public, and private equity) and restructuring assignments
- Prepare valuations, write memorandums for M&A and private placement processes, conduct M&A analyses, and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public and private offerings
- Develop integrated financial models and related valuation analyses
