SNL Financial, the premier provider of breaking news, financial data and expert analysis on the financial institutions and real estate industries, starts an affiliate recruiting practice. 1999
David Yancoskie, current Managing Partner of Travillian, joins the firm in its Washington, DC office. 2000
The firm’s first FIG Investment Banking assignment is completed with the placement of Robert Hutchinson at Tucker Anthony (later RBC Capital Markets). Since 2000, we have placed over 250 FIG and Real Estate investment banking professionals. 2001
The firm name changes to The Travillian Group, LLC. 2005
Travillian becomes an independent executive recruiting firm but maintains it's exclusive focus on the financial services industry. 2012
Paul Burner, ex-CFO of Citibank North America, is hired as CFO for Florida Community Bank (Parent: Bond Street Management), a $3.4 bil. (in assets) institution. This represents a significant step in the growth of Travillian's C-level bank search activities. 2014
Travillian hires Brian Gallagher to lead the firm’s recently launched Fixed Income Search practice. 2016
Brian Love joins Travillian as Head of the Banks and Credit Unions Practice, with a focus on executive and mid-level placements of professionals at depository institutions across the country. 2018
Steve Cohn is hired to co-head our Hedge Fund Search practice and establishes TTG|Align, Travillian's new talent advisory business. 2020
Travillian launches its original content called Of Banker's Interest, dedicated to providing topical, interesting, insightful and leverageable content to the banking community. |
