bvanroden@travilliangroup.com

Barry is a Managing Director in The Travillian Group's Industry Professionals practice. Before joining The Travillian Group, Barry was the President and Founder of van Roden Associates [vRA], an executive placement firm focused on the C-Level placements of commercial bankers nationwide. Prior to founding vRA, Barry spent over 15 years in various roles at SNL Financial LC [SNL]. He specifically focused attention on SNL's banking and thrift industry derived business. Immediately prior to leaving SNL, Barry was the Vice President of SNL's IR Solutions subsidiary which focused primarily on developing IRWebLink, an investor relations website solution for publicly traded banks and other financial services companies.

Barry conceived and promoted IRWebLink as an opportunity for SNL to leverage its information collection and dissemination business into an investor relations web solution. IRWebLink matched the "look and feel" of the client's website while delivering SNL's industry and company specific information to investor relations section of the client's website. IRWeblink successfully leveraged both the reputation of SNL and its data into an enormous success. In only two years, IRWebLink became the #1 investor relations website solution for financial service companies, outclassing well-seasoned competitors.

In his many roles at SNL, he has developed extensive relationships with senior executives at financial services companies and consultants. Barry brings his relationships, his knowledge of company cultures and individual and industry expertise to his role as Managing Director of The Travillian Group. Barry graduated with BA of International Studies from Miami University (Ohio). He speaks Spanish.
