The Travillian Group announces Barry van Roden as new Managing Director and Head of Financial Executives Recruiting

August 4, 2011: The Travillian Group is pleased to announce that Barry van Roden has joined the firm as Managing Director and Head of the Financial Executives Recruiting effort. He will primarily focus on the placement of C-level executives and senior credit, finance & accounting officers at the banks.

In 2005, Barry established his own recruiting firm dedicated to the placement of C-level commercial bankers. He has since placed dozens of senior level executives at community and regional banks nationwide. "Having Barry join The Travillian Group broadens our coverage and immediately establishes our firm as a leading provider of C-level recruiting in small and mid-sized depository institutions," said David Yancoskie, Managing Partner of The Travillian Group. Barry grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Miami University of Ohio. He completed a major in International Studies and minors in Latin American Studies, Political Science, and Spanish, in which he is conversant. Immediately prior to entering the recruiting industry, he worked as a Vice-President at SNL Financial, an industry leader in providing news and information in the Financial Services industry.

Barry lives in Washington, DC with his wife Elizabeth.
